Use a gentle cleanser for your face - I use Phisoderm Deep Cleaning Cleanser for Sensitive Skin and rinse with tepid water.
Switch to a moisturizing foundation for day and apply moisturizer to dry spots at bedtime - for me, that's my cheeks and the areas on either side of my lips. Curiously, The Style Page has no partiality to any moisturizer.
Add moisture to the air of your home - run a humidifier. Even laying your washable sweaters on a frame to dry will add moisture. At night, run a vaporizer by the side of your bed.
Take shorter, fewer, and cooler baths or showers. Use a gentle moisturizing soap or wash like Basis or Aveeno, available at drugstores or drugstore.com
Hydrocortisone cream can help minimize redness, but be sparing - repeated use over time will thin the skin.
To protect your hands, apply cream or lotion before bedtime and cover your hands with cotton dermatological gloves.
